#TINSEL: The Week in review.

Angelique (Angela Dede’s crazy personality) throws a press conference promoting her new TV series at Odyssey. Trust Peju to throw in an Alhaji Abubakar question thinking she’ll throw Angela (unaware of Angelique) off her feet. Angelique makes light of it saying she’s thinking of stealing the name ‘the lord of the underworld’ for her next TV series project and how proud she is of herself for helping the police put this upstart criminal behind bars.
Segun shows the online video of this interview to Detective Sankey who is shocked at how Angela is putting herself out there despite countless warning that she should lie low to avoid being an easy target by Masters men!

Amaka finally decides to give in and allow Omar work with Laide Cole as his producer BUT on her terms only, being that Laide Cole must never set foot in Reel or on set and that Umar must never breathe a word about who his producer is to anyone. This initially didn't sit well with Laide but she gives in as she claims the paycheck from the job will assist her in raising her daughter. Knowing Laide well, she’s come with some hidden agenda.

Salewa is still against her parents getting married. With the hope of putting a stop to the wedding, she tells her Mom that she has to go to the village to inform her parents of her intended Marriage and seek their blessing as is the normal traditional practice. Titi-K refuses initially but after a little persuasion from her fiancĂ©, Dan she accepts. In the midst of all this, Shalewa is confused about her relationship with Titan. She seeks advice from her friends Helen and Sho who give her tips on how to make a move on a guy. While her parents are away (to the village), she invites Titan over and makes a move on him. Awkward at first but Titan kisses her and while they are at it, Carol walks in catching them red-handed. Carol throws Titan out threatening to report what happened to Titi-K. The trip to the village is done and Titi comes home with her parent’s blessings and Maami (her Mom) all to Salewa’s dismay.  Salewa calls Titan and steps out to meet him in his car venting her frustration about the success of Titi-K’s trip to the village also dropping a hint about her insecurity as regards her relationship with Titan. Titan assures her that he loves her and kisses her. Lo and behold, Titi-K catches them, drags Salewa out of Titans car chasing her into the house. When asked why she was out kissing a boy in broad daylight she replies that she is old enough to do so as she is 19. This infuriates Titi-K and she grounds Salewa for life. (Lol Titi-K, We’ll see about that)

After accepting Amaka’s terms to work with Laide Cole as his producer, Omar is presented to the Press as the Reel competition winner. The interview is very stiff as Omar (in a bid not to misyarn I guess) answers questions thrown at him in monosyllables. Amaka had to step in from time to time to save the awkwardness. Omar gets invited by Fred Ade-Williams to his home for a barbecue. Amaka warns him sternly not to breathe a word about Laide while at the Ade Williams.  Fred and Omar get along quite well discussing the film industry with Amaka lurking around very nervous. All went well until Umar almost slips the name Laide Cole while answering a question Fred asked him. Of course Fred did not miss the exchange of glances between Omar and Amaka when Omar left his sentence unfinished.

Brenda is losing her mind as the cost of Angela’s (Angelique’s actually) TV series project is way beyond what the company can bear. Brenda confronts Angela (Angelique) with this saying she won’t sign off on that amount.  Angela (Angelique) tells Brenda she’ll break the bill into bits and sign off herself. Brenda is infuriated and decides to accept Masters offer.
Masters is in constant contact with his lawyers and boys since he got out of solitary confinement. His Lawyer brings feedback from his boys about Brenda Mensah accepting his offer giving him an update on what Angela (Angelique) said about him during her press release.  The warden stops by Matsers cell and gives him a loaf of bread with a pen knife concealed in it. While resting in his cell along with his cell mates, food is delivered to Masters.
AK47 snatches the loaf of bread from Masters and discover the penknife in it. He threatens to out Masters and tells the other cell mates to ‘rush’ Masters. Masters shows Koboko (one of the cellmates) a picture of his family outside saying if anything happens to him in the cell, his boys outside will kill their families, this frightens the guys.  Ak47 keeps taunting Masters and lurches at him. Masters disarms AK47, pins him to the ground and strangles him
