Monday morning started with nominations. Housemates were surprised to get a task on Monday and were all wondering what was going on. Not quite long, Nigerian rapper Ice Prince came into the house to talk to the housemates about ONE Campaign. They were all excited to see him. He immediately settled down in the house and refered to the housemates by their names. He encouraged them to do a video encouraging AU to keep doing more to fight extreme poverty.
Monday evening, Big Brother announced who the nominated housemates were... Bimp, Cleo and Feza. The Head of House Beverly decided to save Bimp and replaced with Dillish.
Tuesday, the housemates wagered 100% for the week's task which is all about giving back to the society, going without food for the whole day and lack of electricity and the ONE campaign. Housemates wore their ONE Campaign t-shirts all day as they got busy with their tasks.
In their Tuesday diary sessions, housemates talked about lack of power and their experience living without power. Bimp, Cleo and Feza also talked about being nominated. Feza said she doesn't feel safe and it's draining being up for eviction a second week running while Cleo said she feels she's a good person and don't know why she has been nominated.
Housemates went to bed quite early after spending most of the day working on their task and also going the whole day without eating.
Wednesday... after not eating all day on Tuesday, housemates quickly got to the kitchen to prepare breakfast with Feza taking charge. Wednesday's task was all about raising AIDS awareness. Housemates were to discuss about it and housemates also used condoms to design a large red ribbon at the garden. After that, housemates together read out their declaration to the African Union.
Housemates sat down together to eat and all discussed what they will be doing to give back to the society when they leave the house. They all shared ideas and how they will go about it. Diary sessions started with Cleo and it mostly focuses on HIV/AIDS. Elikem also talked about extreme poverty while Angelo feels there are too many sub-standard condoms out there being given out freely.
Feza, Cleo and Beverly shared their domestic abuse experience with the housemates. Cleo talked about how she was going to get married to her baby daddy and they both planned the pregnancy but couldn't go ahead with the marriage due to extensive physical violence against her. Beverly also shared her horrible experience with her ex-boyfriend and how much torture she suffered from him. The day rounded up with Elikem, Cleo, Dillish, Angelo and Beverly all having fun in the lounge. They danced the night away.
Thursday... It was the turn of Dillish and Beverly to prepare breakfast for the housemates. Melvin and the guys discussed the Oil Industry in Nigeria. They also talked about development projects in their different countries. The task for the day was for them to prepare their presentation for the evening.
In their diary sessions for the day, housemates believed they would win their wager. Beverly also said she still felt close to Dillish despite swapping her. Feza said she made herself an easy target because of how she has played the game. Dillish thanked Big Brother and talks about how much she has learnt about Africa.
The Head of House Beverly read out the Power of No task and the housemates immediately converged at the garden for the task. Elikem won the task after his ball became the closest to the target. Housemates put finishing touches to their task and gathered at the garden for their presentation.
First person up was Melvin, he introduced himself first and shared the problems Africa faces backing them up with figures. Cleo followed and talked about poverty. Angelo was next up and he used humour to explain ONE and what it means to him about Africa coming together. Elikem, Dillish, Bimp, Feza and Beverly also stepped up and expressed themselves passionately. They won their wager after a fantastic presentation and was shown videos of ONE Campaign ambassadors. Big Brother also thrilled them with movies and popcorn. Just after that Elikem and Feza discussed their differences with Elikem not only defending himself but also defending Pokello. With Cleo, Melvin listening in and trying to sort it out.
Later that night, Dillish gave Elikem massage. Dillish and Elikem are the closest duo in the house right now.
Please me i'm just miffed by what Dillish has been saying and doing. We all know that its a game and really she's just in there for the money but let's not deny the fact that at some point in the game, friendships are formed and loyalties are established. Its really sad that she had to port like that. I could have sworn on my life that she would never say anything against our naija reps esp melvin. I'm disappointed beyond words. If she's doing this cos Bev put her up which i doubt, then she can revenge by nominating her tomorrow. Not telling elikem that he's her winner and all the other rubbish she's been saying. I dont kuku blame her, i blame nigerians including me for voting her. She woulda been long gone if we didn't. At this point i wont mind if she leaves today. I really cant stand looking at her anymore. I wasn't too keen on Mel winning before. But i really hope he does now. Shame must catch her. Elikem can never win anyway so in the end she just shot herself in the foot.
