Big Brother Africa 8: Rubies win Airtel Arena show.

The Diamonds house were the first to arrive the arena unlike last week Friday. While awaiting the arrival of the Rubies housemates, the Diamonds housemates engaged themselves in freestyle and also shout-outs to their loved ones and countries.

As the Rubies housemates were entering the arena, shouts of "Cleo" were chorused amongst the Diamonds housemates which Hakeem started. The housemates hugged and greeted each other cheerfully, some jumping on another and so on. Melvin and Hakeem got the most attention from the housemates as they were re-united with their former Rubies housemates.

Big Brother announced to the housemates to line up in their different houses starting line as the game was about to commence. The game in which both housemates contested is the water race track. Housemates were asked to run to the end of the track where there's a water tub and dip a towel into the water and run back to the starting line where there is a long thin cylinder, they are to squeeze the water out of the soaked towel into the cylinder. They are to continue that process till the cylinder fills up. So one housemate is to go after the other.

It seems the Rubies housemates were determined to win this time around after losing badly in the last showdown. And they started well running up and down and filling up the cylinder, the Diamonds housemates who looked very athletic and competitive also started pretty well but were a bit behind the Rubies. Diamonds noticing they were behind the Rubies started cheating, using their hands to take water from the floor close to the cylinder and pouring it inside, they also went ahead to use their own clothes to take water from the same spot to fill up the cylinder, some of the Rubies housemates noticed this and also joined in the cheating game.

At the end of the day, the Rubies came out on top. Meaning Selly, HOH of Rubies will have the privilege of swapping housemates from both houses. I can't wait.
