#BBATHECHASE: Bolt and Maria evicted.

Bolt and Maria are the ninth and tenth housemate evicted from this year's Big Brother Africa house. The live eviction show which kicked off with the show host IK Osakioduwa showing clips of events that happened in the house on Friday and Saturday, later on introduced South African 'rich fine boy' rapper AKA performing one of his hit track Jealousy. It was a scintillating performance and a nice way to set the mood for the show.


Just moments after the performance, a clip of last week's evicted housemate Motamma was shown. She talked about her experience at the house and not having any grudge against Annabel who had swapped her. She looked really happy in the clip. IK later crossed to the house and made fun of 'Big Sister Hakeem' for him being scared of the aliens. Ik also asked Oneal to describe his relationship with Feza in a sentence and he responded by saying "she is my weakness". IK immediately  asked Head of House Feza to reveal her safe and swap decision. She told the housemates she saved Sulu and replaced with Pokello. Nando, the other Head of House was asked the same and he revealed he saved himself and replaced with Maria who had anticipated it all week.

In an unusual move, IK after asking all the nominated housemates to stand up decided not to evict any housemate immediately telling the housemates Biggie said he should hold on with it. A clip of the other last week evicted housemate Betty was shown. A beautiful but not so happy Betty talked about housemates not understanding her and that she is actually friendly(probably to Bolt alone). 

After taking a commercial break, IK finally crossed to the house and asked all nominated housemates to stand up. Bolt was the first name to be called and evicted and just as Bolt was hugging his housemates, IK said Bolt you are not leaving... Bolt who thought he wasn't leaving blew a kiss to the TV only for IK to complete his sentence and said Bolt you are not leaving alone, Maria you also have been evicted. That was a bit of surprise to some housemates. Beverly shed tears for Maria while Elikem did same for Bolt. Melvin and Dillish were visibly sad and quiet. 

Bolt and Maria later joined IK on stage and talked about their experience in the house. Maria was in her usual bubbly self and kept laughing all through. Their highlight clips were shown to them. Bolt was also shown the housemates who nominated him. AKA along side Da Les came on stage to perform Kontrol and rounded up the show.
