Melvin and Beverly's radio interview with IK.

Okay, after a wonderful welcome yesterday night at the airport for Melvin and Beverly. They were both at the studio of Rhythm 93.7fm early this morning and had an interesting chat/interview with the Big Brother host IK who is also a radio presenter at the seaside station. They talked about a whole lot during the chat and was not in a particular order. I am going to give you guys some of what was discussed as i listened to the radio interview.



As the show started IK told listeners to send in their questions via twitter and he will ask both Melvin and Beverly, the early questions that came for Melvin was why he didn't win? That they expected him to win, what happened? He responded and said he wouldn't know as he was in the house. He was also asked which of the girls was he 'eyeing'. When asked about her relationship with Angelo, Beverly said Angelo is in SA,  they are in a relationship and taking things a step at a time. She also said Angelo broke up wit Candice(his ex-girlfriend) before coming into the house. IK shed more light on that said Angelo told him that Candice expressed sudden interest in him just when he told her he was going for BBA.

IK asked Melvin, did you kiss Maria? Yes i did, Melvin responded. They both talked about Maria and the time they had after the show to discuss which Beverly joined and said it was enough for Melvin to decide. IK also talked about how lots of girls were all over Melvin at the after party. Beverly was asked  the first thing her mum told her? She said " Dont worry,i am proud of you". Her mum also didn't know she smokes prior to the show. Worst question she has been asked about Angelo was " Did u  bebeshukebe but i did not bebeshukebe", meaning did you sleep with Angelo.
IK also said after reviewing the footage from all camera angles, they did not have sex.

Beverly said "I talk too much" but she didn't mean a lot of things she said. Beverly said Big Brother has given her a platform to do other things like movies and presenting. Ik asked Melvin what he felt about Boity declaring love for him, he said he loves her too. Melvin and IK continued talking about how beautiful Boity is in person and her lovely shape. IK also said Boity intends to visit Nigeria soon. IK went on a music break and played Sulu's Ruby song.

Melvin said his plans after Big Brother is more movies, Beverly also said she plans to go into Nollywood. IK and Beverly also talked and joked about her acting skills during some of the tasks in the house. Melvin was asked about Dillish and Maria and he said he would choose Maria before Dillish, he said Dillish has a boyfriend. IK joked about Stephen, Dillish's boyfriend. He said it's not because Stephen looks like her dad, he brought a tiara for her on stage, asking who does that. That he should have used the opportunity to propose to her or something. IK also said Stephen bought Dillish a Mercedes Benz Compressor before the show started.

Beverly apologised for all she said about people in the house, that most times she forgot about the cameras and she just likes to gist with her friends. IK  brought up what she had said about him in the house, Beverly was quiet and didn't respond, IK  said he is not angry with her and understood the situation in the house where you forget about the cameras. Melvin also pleaded for people not to judge her as it's not easy being in the house. IK and Melvin then discussed how beautiful Maria is, that she's very slim and curvaceous. IK also talked about her cup size in which Melvin asked him how he knows and they all busted into laughter in the studio.

IK asked Melvin about his incident with Dillish when she used something he had told her about his ex-girlfriend against him. Melvin said he was pissssssed. IK narrated how Dillish came to apologise and how Melvin was feeling cool. IK also said he noticed they weren't as close again and Melvin sometimes ignored her but Melvin said No, that they were cool and fine after that. He asked them  about marriage and what they want in their partner. Beverly said she wants a husband that will love her for her. Love her craziness and wants a business minded man for a husband. Melvin wants a girl with inner beauty. Someone he is compatible with. IK then asked Melvin about his body, how long he works out for and how he was able to achieve his abs. He said he had a good body structure. And prior to him participating in Mr Nigeria, he was working out five times a week for about an hour each and also his participation at Mr Nigeria helped him to achieve it. IK  asked him to take off his shirt. IK's co presenter, Omalicha was touching Melvin's body while IK took pictures of them. IK then jokingly told Beverly to take off her own clothes too, Beverly said NO. IK teased her and said "we have all seen it before, Don't you walk with just bra." Beverly also said she didn't bring much clothes into the house, but brought enough lingerie.

IK asked Beverly what was the secret of not getting nominated in the house. She said God. She then said she was sure Annabel and Natasha called her name severally for nominations which IK confirmed to her. She also said secondly, you have to be smart, anywhere your country man goes, she follows and she counted her friends and was able to know who and who will not nominate her. Beverly said some people said they have mansion at home but they discovered it was false in Babylon. Beverly thanked her fans for voting for her and for welcoming her back home. She's proud to be a Nigerian. Melvin thanked all his fans for voting him. He said he is really tripped by the show of love. They both  gave out their twitter handles.

Hours after, they both were on Cool fm and Wazobia fm and the show of love continued for them. Beverly was asked a lot of questions regarding her relationship with Angelo, a lot of callers wanted to know if she had sex with Angelo, she said she didn't. As regard the popular bathtub footage, she said she took her bath naked and Angelo doesn't. She said Angelo had a boxers on. She also apologised again for some of the things she said in the house and offending people. She was asked if 2shotz abused her physically but she refused to talk. She says she's going back to school. Melvin, got lots of love and encouragement. He was also asked severally about Dillish. A caller asked him if he loves Dillish? He said he doesn't love Dillish but likes her. He talked about Maria on Wazobia fm and in his words "we have inherited Maria". The interview wasn't as extensive and chatty chatty as the one they had with IK in the morning.
