#BBATHECHASE: Dillish wins Big Brother Africa, The Chase Season 8.

Dillish last night became the third woman ever to win Big Brother Africa. The stunning Namibian beat Cleo to the top prize in a very entertaining two hours live show.

The Grand Finale started with the charismatic host, IK and a group of some other guys dressed in black suit dancing. Nigerian rapper Ice Prince was the first artist to perform and he performed his hit track Aboki. Just after that IK went into the house and had a very brief chat with the Top 5 housemates. IK came back on stage and started calling on  former housemates in order of their eviction with Huddah and Denzel being first. They were followed by LK4 and Koketso and both said they have visited each others country.

Just after that, some of the audition clips were aired. The clip showed some of the housemates while they were auditioning for the show. IK was soon back on stage and continued with the re-introduction of the former housemates. Angolan Biguesas and Neyll, Motamma and Betty all came up, Betty said she feels the winner is between Melvin and Dillish. A video clip of romance in the house was aired. Uganda artist Keko came on stage and performed. Then came the beautiful and trendy Maria and Bolt, Maria is confident Dillish will win the money and jokingly said they will be spending it together, Bolt said he has become popular back home.

IK then crossed over to the house and asked the housemates what they will buy for themselves if they win the money. Beverly said she will repair her room in her mum's house, Cleo said she will buy shoes, Dillish will buy a 62 inch plasma tv, Elikem will get the 2013 Suzuki bike while Melvin said he will buy new clothes. Hakeem and Fatima came on stage, Hakeem feels Cleo will win and Fatima said she's still good friends with Elikem, they were followed by Selly and Natasha, Natasha talked about what she has been up to and Selly is going with Elikem to win. Another video clip was shown and it was that of the Emerald housemates.

There was a dance performance on stage. Just after that Pokello and Bassey came on stage. Pokello was confident her relationship with Elikem will work. Nando and Annabel came after them, an excited Annabel said Dillish is winning. Then came the couple Oneal and Feza. Diary sessions clip was shown and a video clip of last week's evicted housemates Angelo and Bimp. They soon both came on stage. Sulu then came on stage and gave us the performance of the night with his newly composed Ruby song. He got a rousing welcome from the audience and a standing ovation from co-housemates. He told IK music was something he discovered he could do and will take it up.

The business of the night started, IK crossed over to the house and the first of the five of housemates to be evicted was Beverly. A very energetic Beverly joined IK on stage and her boo Angelo welcomed her with a warm hug and a flower. She talked about escaping nominations all through and hopes Melvin wins. Soon after that came the shocker of the night when Melvin was the next housemate to be evicted. There was a look of complete shock amongst former housemates, audience were stunned and the social network went ablaze with disbelief. Melvin who also appeared shocked came on stage and was given a standing ovation by former housemates and got a rousing welcome from the audience. IK asked him why he never made a move on any girl, he said there were no feelings. An emotional Video clip of him having difficulty in swapping housemates as Head of House was shown.

Ghana's R2Bees came on stage and performed. IK then went into the house again, he showed the remaining three housemates their highlight video clips. He then immediately evicted Elikem. They both walked out of the house onto the stage and a lively Elikem got lots of love from the audience. Pokello also came up and they shared a warm hug and kissed. He told IK about his pursuit of POkello and was so elated when he was told POkello had left her boyfriend for him. The beautiful gadget queen Boity came on stage and joined IK and the three guys. She immediately told Melvin of her love for him and announced Elikem as the winner of the romantic gesture. He will be taking Pokello along to the holiday trip.
‘She Came, She Saw, She Conquered’! Namibia’s Dillish is the Winner of Big Brother Africa – The Chase
Then came the big moment, IK crossed over to the house and said the next housemate he will be calling will be the last to be evicted. Cleo was the housemate and that made Dillish the winner. Cleo left the house and it was just a tearful Dillish, the new winner who was left in the house. As Cleo made her way onto the stage, former housemates who were already at the time at the party lounge rushed into the house and celebrated with Dillish. Cleo was given a warm welcome and Hakeem came on stage to join her. Dillish the new winner then came on stage, looking as beautiful and delicious as ever. Her longtime boyfriend Stephen came on stage to join her and put a crown on her head. DJ Ganyani  gave the last performance of the night and rounded up what was arguably the best finale in recent time.

  1. I'm pained sha. Cant even lie. Couldn't sleep last night. Even though i love each and every member of the MDEC crew, i really wanted Melvin to win. It hurts bad. The results might seem credible. But i don't believe it. There's no way Melvin could have come 4th. No way. If he was 2nd i might not contest it. But it is what it is. Everything happens for a reason. This might be a blessing in disguise. The recognition and endorsements he'll get from here on will triple the prize money. All that good nature and amazing character will be rewarded. Melvin has a beautiful soul.People like that are not common and that alone will bring him greatness beyond compare. I'm happy for Dillish. Her dream came true and i can say she also deserved to win. God bless her. God bless Melvin Oduah and God bless the whole MDEC crew plus Beverly.

  2. To say I was pained is an understatement.I was on auto pilot walahi.for a good 10 minutes after ik called melvins name I was on auto pilot.just gazing at d screen but not seeing anything.
Had to rewatch it on 155.
Guess melvin wasn't destined to win but at d same time dilish played us nigerians.flirtin to get our and melvins support.
If W Africa combined all our votes we would totally have won,cos dats 6 countries to dilish's 5 and if it was a stalemate we would still have won.
    Anyway,till next year.

  3. I think nigeria focused so much on Dillish and never voted for anyone from the east except one time when Nando came up..anyway next year let's be wise in this game..look at the relationship between Zim and ghana now. Is all good. Melvin is too good to loose this game.
