#BBATHECHASE: Elikem talks about Feza, Pokello and Nando.

Elikem had a press conference in Ghana, i listened to it and decided to transcribe the interesting parts of it.

ABOUT POKELLO.
He said when he got there he met Feza and thought she was a good girl but he was wrong. Initially she gave excuses of culture and when he got out he found out she liked him and wanted him to push harder. Then he went to Ruby and saw Pokello and things turned out good. He said he's Pokello's type of man, tall dark, masculine and she's his kind of woman " hard to get" "fresh to death"and he's taking it one step at a time and he believes they will work.

ABOUT SEX TAPE
The first or second day he got to Ruby, she told him about it and how everything leaked. He  said he has seen it and he doesn't want to say " I like it, it is niceeee".

#BBATHECHASE: Melvin and Beverly's welcome party.

And he played Sulu's Ruby. Victoria Kimani and KC performed
Some of the people Spotted were: Uti, Alex Ekubo, Karen, Bryan Okwara, Denrenle, etc.

People asked different questions, and it was mostly about Dillish and nothing about Maria, screams of Dillish every where in the club and Beverly got some question about Angelo. It was a fun night all in all.

#BBATHECHASE: Rumours, Rumours, Rumours.

Big Brother The Chase may be over but increasingly it is becoming the most controversial season of Big Brother Africa yet! There are rumours that Zimbabwean housemate Hakeem and Kenya’s  Huddah might have had sex before the show’s finale last Sunday night. Hakeem, who was in a heated relationship with Zambian Cleo before his eviction from the show is alleged to have betrayed his love for the Zambian rapper after he had openly proposed to her while in the house.

Cleo, who survived in the reality show to the final day, Sunday, had also professed and maintained her love for the well built Zimbabwean model and the emergence of a love fling between him and Huddah has stunned followers of show. Reports indicate that all evicted housemates – including Hakeem and Huddah – reported to the Hilton Hotel in Sandton in Johannesburg ahead of the finale, Sunday. Sources at the hotel say that the two got very touchy and intimate during a ‘party’ at the hotel. A picture of the two kissing passionately has added currency to rumours that the two got sexually intimate after the party. Reports have it that Huddah might have leaked the photo.

Friday.... The day started with the routine morning exercises but not every housemate took part in it. It was a very lazy morning as some were still sleeping.

Elikem gathered the housemates in the lounge for the HoH task. Angelo who had won the Power of No task gave it to Elikem and said he just wants another housemate to have a chance of being the HoH. Elikem read out the HoH task, it's a hotdog eating competition. Bimp wins the HoH task after being the first housemate to finish eating. He was followed by Angelo and Melvin.

Beverly was asked by the HoH. Elikem to wear the Go Pro camera in which she refused profusely. An angry Beverly said she's been wearing the camera all week long and won't wear it again for that day. She said she's been confused and no longer confused and that Elikem should pick someone else which made Elikem burst into laughter. Elikem then decided he will wear it.

#BBATHCHASE: Feza's chase ends.

The Tanzanian songstress, Feza Kessy became the 20th housemate to be evicted from the Big Brother House. Feza who had earlier survived eviction last week was once again put up for possible eviction by her co-housemates and ran out of luck this time around as her chase for the grand prize of $300,000 came to an end just two weeks to the finale.

The Live Eviction Show started with Zimbabwean rapper Ten-Diamond rocking the Big Brother stage. Soon after did the show host IK came on stage in his charismatic self to welcome the audience and said just one housemate will be evicted. A video highlight of the week's task and ONE Campaign ambassador Ice Prince was shown before the show went on commercial break.

#PFWA: Elimination night... Goodbye Leonard and Oluchi.

It was the first elimination show of the season and of course, it's always sad to see contestants leave the show at such an early stage.
So this is the first elimination show proper, 'absolutely it is'. 'That’s right it is!' Benjamin and Adaora really need to look up some new words because these two have do us! Anyway, back to the matter.

#BBATHECHASE: Weekend round-up and the Dillish drama.

Friday.... In the early hours of Friday morning, Dillish gave Elikem a hot and 'dilishious' massage on his naked back. Later that morning, housemates together made a call to AU to act fast on extreme poverty.

Elikem called the housemates together to make use of his power of No. He gave it to Bimp and said he's being strategic at this time of the game as if Bimp becomes the Head of House, he will definitely swap him. Bimp stood up and hugged him and told him he would have if he became the Head of House.
Housemates gathered at the garden for the HOH task. And it was another dart task. Elikem won the HOH task and guaranteed himself a spot at the finale. He also became the first Ghanaian ever to make it to the Big Brother final and also the first housemate to win the Power of No and the HOH same week.

#BBATHECHASE: Mid- week roundup.

Presentation: Victory so sweet

Monday morning started with nominations. Housemates were surprised to get a task on Monday and were all wondering what was going on. Not quite long, Nigerian rapper Ice Prince came into the house to talk to the housemates about ONE Campaign. They were all excited to see him. He immediately settled down in the house and refered to the housemates by their names. He encouraged them to do a video encouraging AU to keep doing more to fight extreme poverty.

#TINSEL: The Week in review.

Angelique (Angela Dede’s crazy personality) throws a press conference promoting her new TV series at Odyssey. Trust Peju to throw in an Alhaji Abubakar question thinking she’ll throw Angela (unaware of Angelique) off her feet. Angelique makes light of it saying she’s thinking of stealing the name ‘the lord of the underworld’ for her next TV series project and how proud she is of herself for helping the police put this upstart criminal behind bars.
Segun shows the online video of this interview to Detective Sankey who is shocked at how Angela is putting herself out there despite countless warning that she should lie low to avoid being an easy target by Masters men!

#BBATHECHASE: Elikem becomes the first chasemate to make the grand finale.

First of all, Elikem gave the power of No to Bimp after giving a speech because biggie asked him to give a reason.

He told Bimp he has decided to give him the power of no because if Bimp gets the HOH he's sure Bimp would swap him.

It was time for the hoh task and it was a dart task. After throwing, Cleo and Elikem's darts were closer to the board. Biggie then announced Elikem the winner of the task.

Officially, Elikem is the first housemate to make the finale and also the first Ghanian to get to the finals. Congrats #thatniggaelikem #Elikemthetailor.

#BBATHECHASE: Read Oneal's post eviction interview.

You and Feza have been under scrutiny since your relationship started, why do you think you’ve been the most talked about couple in this season?

I think it’s because of my strong personality, our union made it very easy for her to conform to who I am. In a sense she was sort of swallowed up by my personality which I stand by all the time, I’ll admit I’m a bit of a tough person to deal with so at the end of the day viewers saw a relationship that consisted of two submissive and controlling individuals and I guess that made for good television which ultimately made our relationship the most talked about in comparison to the others. I came across as someone who has control issues and I will not necessarily disagree with the public, I’m a person who controls their space and Feza came into my space and when you are in my space chances are - I will control you

It’s interesting that you speak about control, because a couple of weeks ago we asked Bassey to predict the next evictees. He actually said that you and Feza were next. He claims you were not only conspirers but that your relationship was an absolute pretense and that you were very much controlling of everyone, what’s your comment on that?

First of all Bassey is 22 years old, so it’s very difficult for me to draw anything out of any statements he makes and no disrespect to him and his country. but I think he’s too immature to analyze or rationalize any situation that involves me. I’m a very complex person that deserves a lot more than a measly comment from Bassey.

What was your best tactic for surviving the Big Brother House?

I’ll revert back to my strong personality comment because when we first entered the house I was very reserved, I analyzed people and the strategic ways they played the game, so that really worked for me because people couldn’t figure me out. However, I will admit that my strategy worked up until I met Feza where a lot of dynamics started to change, I put my guard down and had to accommodate somebody else. Within that process I started opening up to not only her but to other people in the house too and in terms of errors in my strategy. That’s where things began to fall apart for me as a player in the game but at the same time I don’t want this to be misconstrued as me saying that I regret getting into a relationship with Feza. If anything, I sacrificed and I was willing to sacrifice my strategy because I had met someone special and in a way I let go of my controlling characteristics and submitted to my feelings.

Speaking about opening up, and just letting you guard down. Whilst on the show we saw you have very deep & meaningful conversations with Bimp who was also Bassey’s least favorite housemate, would you say that you’ve gained yet another brother in Bimp?

Too a large extent and that’s thanks to Feza, because at first I didn’t know Bimp that well but Feza insisted that I actually meet up with him because she believed that Bimp is so much like me mature wise especially. So I agreed to meet up with Bimp and when we met I felt a very intriguing depth about him and from there on I found it very easy to relate and talk to him on an intellectual level. I found that he is a very mature person although I saw a bit of weakness in him when it came to how he played the game. I will go back to the age comment because despite how wise he is at the end of the day he is still a 23 year old who is likely to make mistakes and yes I have gained a brother in him.

You’re also a radio personality back home and considering that you have a following that likes and dislikes you, are you a bit weary of how your followers back home will react to you when going back on air?

Not necessarily, the one thing I know about my country is that it doesn’t matter where I am in the world, I always know that I’m their son, their child and that’s how they’ll always treat you. You go out there in the world and make mistakes, and they see those mistakes but they’re very forgiving because it’s just something that’s within us as people from Botswana. I know that many will crucify me for the things I’ve done and said in the house but I know my country, only a very few will hold onto the mistakes I’ve done. The rest will appreciate my work on Big Brother, Botswana has my back all the way.

You once mentioned that the reason you entered Big Brother was because you believed the house lacked you, seeing that you’ve gained this experience would you audition for the competition again?

Quite frankly I wouldn’t audition for the competition again and with me mentioning that Big Brother needed an O’Neal I meant that, I say this without even flinching, Big Brother needed O’Neal so bad and I’m just glad I put it the way it is, because I left my mark and I know I have changed as an individual because of the game. The fact is I’ve created dialogue, and the dialogue I’ve created across Africa isn’t necessarily a soppy one where people pretend to love each other. I opened up a platform for people to really say what they feel about other countries, and how one could express themselves about the overbearing nature of some West Africans. I feel that we dance around certain regions of Africa simply because they are more popular than others and I felt that it just makes us inferior. Somebody had to just stand up against that and I was that person.

#PFWA- Project Fame West Africa review. Week 1, Nomination night.

It was the first nomination night of the season and the contestants had to sing to impress not only the judges but also the viewers who'd vote to keep them in the game.

#BBATHECHASE: Weekend round up.

On Friday morning, Beverly won the Head of House after throwing her ball closest to the target. Her duties starts on Monday morning.

Elikem read out the Airtel Arena Showdown to the housemates. They are to compete in sack race, egg race, scooter race and tyre roll. The housemates were divided into two teams. Elikem sat the game out and later joined Melvin, Bimp, Cleo and Beverly who won the showdown.

Melvin, Bimp and Elikem discussed nominations, save and replace and the pressure that comes with that. Elikem said it's easy for him  to save himself and put anybody up since he has been nominated by that person. Bimp and Melvin agrees it's emotional for them and difficult to do.

Angelo discussed with Beverly about her smoking habit and tried encouraging her to stop. In the lounge Big Brother played Channel O for the housemates. Later that night Angelo and Beverly got very cozy and intimate under the blanket.

Saturday morning saw most housemates still sleeping after staying up late the other night. They later woke up and got something doing from cleaning, to doing laundry.

The housemates gathered in the garden for the Airtel Picnic and the Airtel Show which the housemates re-introduced themselves to Africa. Later in the afternoon, Elikem the HoH picked Melvin to accompany him to the rendezvous room and both played video game.

Beverly and Angelo spent the evening relaxing in the jacuzzi and discussed everything and had a nice time together. Dillish prepared dinner for the housemates. Housemates prepared for their Saturday night party. They were thrilled to a lovely party by DJ Vision from Ghana and Cleo was ecstatic when he played her song. Later that night Angelo and Beverly got into a fight, but was sorted later.

On Sunday morning, the nominated housemates, Oneal, Feza and Elikem got their hair done by Big Brother's stylist. Elikem also gave Bimp a haircut and helped Melvin shave and trim his beard.

It was a quiet Sunday as usual because of  eviction fevers. Some housemates tried sleeping during the day while some engaged in lightweight discussions.

The nominated housemates had their nomination diary session. Feza said if she leaves, she will leave a proud person. Oneal talked about how nervous he is especially for Feza. Elikem talked about his relationship with Bimp and how he does not know how Bimp will take it when he knows he has been swapped.

The housemates prepared for the live show and gathered in the lounge. The live show kicked off as usual with the host IK. IK later crossed into the house and evicted Oneal.

After the eviction show, life in the big brother house continued with some housemates chilling in the jacuzzi including Feza whose boyfriend had been evicted. Elikem and Cleo were in the bedroom and discussed about how the nominations could go on Monday.

#BBATHECHASE: What is happening? Day 67.

The day started differently. There were no trainers to put the housemates through the morning exercise as usual. When the trainer arrived into the house, Big Brother called him into the diary room and he didn't return back to the house. Angelo and Melvin took it upon themselves to exercise without the trainer while the other housemates were sleeping.

Oneal and Feza did their laundry together early in the morning. Melvin got very playful with Dillish in the bedroom. They were both all over each other playing, teasing and pillow fighting. Melvin also appeared to give Dillish some pecks(kiss) to the delight of numerous 'Mellish' fans on twitter.

The housemates were given the first task of the day. The Housemates had to create a TV advert for the TV Show in time for Presentations tonight. Housemates had to use Lipton Tea as the main brand for their advert. The Housemates had to come up with a five minute advert using the tea, cups and the backpack. Meanwhile, Oneal and Feza prepared breakfast for the housemates.

Diary sessions started with Dillish. She believes housemates will win their wager. She also noted that Feza and Oneal have recently been mixing with the housemates and suspect maybe it's because they are up for eviction. Feza said only her, Oneal and Bimp are real in the house while the rest of the housemates are putting up an appearance. Oneal couldn't stop ranting and complaining about housemates sucking up to the HoH and not accepting his ideas for the Lipton tea advert task. Bimp had a lot to say about Elikem in the diary room and how he thinks he is putting up an appearance and not real.

The diary session continued with Beverly, Angelo, Cleo, Elikem and Melvin. They all agreed that winning Head of House at this stage in the competition is very important and crucial. They also agreed housemates have now taken the Power of No task very seriously as no one wants to be exempted from the Head of House task.

Housemates continued with their task work and put finishing touches to their performance in preparation for their task presentation. The Head of House Elikem read out a brief to the housemates in which Big Brother cautioned the housemates to adhere to the time given.

Bimp confronted Elikem about his feelings towards him. He said "Elikem, I'll be honest with you. I have been angry at you since Friday because of the fight, as well as Nando's Exit. I think my anger has played a role in me thinking you swapped me. I had taken it personally but now less personally." Bimp then later told Elikem he doesn't think they would ever be best of friends. Elikem told him anyone could be up and it's up to Africa to save the person. Elikem also said "I don't care what you think of me. I know what and who I am. I've been a target since the game started and that has made me a stronger person. However, I am glad you came to me and opened up, instead of going to talk to other people."

The housemates started their task presentation. Elikem and Feza handled the News Bulletin and read out the News as regards the Big Brother house. It was followed by the Weather Report which was co-presented by Cleo and Dillish. There was a Lipton Tea advert break after that which Oneal, Elikem and Dillish participated in. The presentation ended with a comedy show which Melvin and Beverly starred in. Cleo, Dillish, Elikem also made appearance in the very funny short comedy show. The housemates won their wager and were rewarded with Popcorn, drinks and also treated to a movie in the lounge.

Oneal didn't look happy because the movie biggie played was from West Africa, he was outside most of the time. He also has his usual quarrel with Feza which left her cvrying inside the Jacuzzi. Oneal also said he's tired of the house and the West African thing.
