Detective Sankey intercepts Brenda confronting her about her recent visit to Masters. Brenda in her usual saucy fashion tells the detective off saying it is none of her business. Sankey informs Brenda that is she finds out she is involved in any dirty business, she’ll be taken in.
Brenda Mensah and her Lawyer (who is clearly unaware of how Brenda got her land papers) are gearing up for a fight with Angela if one arises. Angela and her Lawyer contemplate on how they can hit Brenda hard however, without any evidence every charge seems like a wild assumption. Her Lawyer finally comes up with the idea to file a complaint to the State and let them do the investigation. Angela decides to confide in a detective Sankey about Akpobo’s land and the issues at hand
Omar still is his same old self changing plans for shooting, location, costumes at dying minutes. This confuses both Amaka and Laide. During one of the shoots, Omar changes location out of the blues much to the reluctance of the crew. They arrive at the new location and while taking a few shots security and the estate confiscates their equipment. Amaka is informed and calls Laide up as the producer to handle the situation ASAP so the shoot can be as scheduled. Laide uses this to push Amaka into having her on set as this challenge cannot be resolved via phone calls. Laide goes to the estate and saves the day resolving the challenges with the security and getting the equipment’s back. Laide uses this opportunity to push Amaka into allowing her on set to properly manage issues/challenges that might arise. Amaka gives in but tells her if she crosses her boundaries, the contract shall be revoked
Kwame pays a visit to Angela at home. He is utterly confused as to why she blows hot and cold at him and wants answers to data. The Kwame thinks the tension with Brenda is ruining things at Odyssey and offers to help smooth things over between both parties. Angela doesn’t buy it and asks Kwame what’s in it for him. Kwame goes to see Brenda who says Kwame isn’t delivering on his part of their agreement as he hasn’t brought any valuable information from Angela. Kwame tells Brenda that he thinks mending fences with Angela will smooth things out but Brenda says it is too late to kiss and make up as things have already happened and it is out of her hands. Kwame asks her to undo these things but Brenda flips shutting him up.
Staff of the Mirage spa are tired of Fred Ade-Williams unannounced visits. They find him more of a problem than a solution. This builds up their curiosity as to what really is going on with their Boss Sheila Ade-Williams and decide to stop by her house to pay her a visit
Titi-K had a rough time this week. After receiving monetary help from Fred Ade Williams, Titi goes all out trying to outdo herself for the wedding. She makes expensive purchases and outlandish plans telling Dan she is receiving support from her friends and colleagues
Dan Ade-Williams feels overwhelmed with all the Wedding plans and starts spending more time at Ziggy’s bar than at home. Titi-K notices this new pattern and begins to worry about Dan and his addiction challenges. She goes to the bar and for a token, asks Frank (one of workers) to keep an eye on Dan for her by reporting any suspicious behavior. Frank rats on Titi to Dan who is infuriated and confronts Titi about this. Titi lays out her fear about his new habit but Dan doesn’t want to listen and storms out of the house.
Salewa in all her jealousy goes to see her Dad at the bar and tells him Titi-K asked Fred Ade William for some money for the wedding. Initially, Dan doubts it but finally put the pieces together. Dan confronts his brother Fred about giving money to Titi-K behind his back saying he is trying to control his life. Fred explains to Dan that he was happy to help seeing that Dan would never have asked him for it. Dan isn’t buying this explanation at all and storms out of Fred’s house.
Dan goes to Titi-K’s apartment and confronts her on the source of the money she has been spending being Fred Ade-Williams. Titi tries to explain why she did it but Dan wouldn’t give her the time or space to. In the heat of anger, he packs his things out of Titi’s apartment and calls of the wedding telling her to return every dime to Fred. Dan (with nowhere to go to) goes to Ziggy’s bar with this luggage.
Maami returns from the market and starts to give Titi-K an account of her expenditure towards the wedding. After a while, she notices Titi is crying and finds out Dan has called off the wedding. Maami sits with her lamenting and comforting her as Titi-K wails to the high heaves saying it’s all her fault cos everything she does, she ruins. Salewa returns to see her Mum in tears and find out from Maami that her Father had called the wedding off. After seeing her Mom brooding for hours on end, guilty ridden Salewa confesses to her Mom that she was the person who told her Dad that she got money from Fred Ade-Williams for the wedding. She explains that she did it out of jealousy. Titi-K is broken and says she can’t believe her own daughter and blood did this to her.
Salewa hasn’t heard from her Dad as he isn’t picking is calls. She decides to check on him at Ziggy’s bar and to her shock and Frank’s they find him on the floor surrounded with bottles drunk to stupor. Dan wakes up in the hospital and is angry to see Titi-K in his room. He snaps at her and Titi decides to take her leave. Titi stops by the Ade-Williams to inform them about Dan being hospitalized and also returns part of the money to Fred telling him Dan had called the wedding off. Salewa talks to her Dad and finally gets him to admit he misses her and will go and make things right with her. On getting to Titi-K’s house tables turn and instead of resolving issues they end up blaming and throwing hash words at each other with Titi-K’s former guy-in-honor cheering Titi-K on!
Fred calls Amaka that he is on his way to Reel studios to see how the remake is going. Amaka panics and calls Laide Cole telling her to stay out of sight while Fred is in the building.
