#BBATHECHASE: Mid- week round up.

With 9 housemates left, the house is quite boring,We can all agree the entertainers are gone.. much didn't happen in the last 2 days. Oneza handled their nominations well. Bimp and Angelo feel Elikem swapped them. Angelo, Beverly and Bimp have gradually moved away from the majority (Oneza) and have joined the Minority camp.

#BBATHECHASE: "I live my life with no regrets"- Nando.

Nando was disqualified last week Sunday for breaking the rules in the Big Brother house. Nando arrived Tanzania on Tuesday and according to www.bongo5.com, he had these to say. “I LIVE MY LIFE WITH NO REGRETS.”
 ” i don’t want to know what the problem was or anything, what happened happened. Am preparing my new life. How many good things have happened to me before and still continue to follow me every day? since i was a kid who knew me? Right now am in  peace and am happy that you have welcomed me well. I will continue with my life and the best thing is that, i have a platform to make my name good and so i will continue with the same spirit up to where  i will reach.”

 The housemates who got most nominations are Elikem, Feza and Oneal. Elikem the HOH saved himself and put up Bimp. So  Bimp, Feza and Oneal are up for eviction.

#BBATHECHASE: I'm sorry Africa- Elikem.

Elikem who also got a strike for reacting to Nando's provocation on Friday night apologised to Big Brother and Africa today.

Immediately after his diary session, Elikem thanked Africa for saving him and apologised to Big brother, Africa and his mum for not showing enough restraint.

In his words, "My actions on Friday are not justifiable, i should have been quiet and not respond to Nando's provocations. For no reason do i have to say all i said...I'll like to apologise to Big brother Africa and my mum for what happened. I'm sorry and it will never happen again"

He said this in a very sober mood and got emotional. Big brother accepted his apology. Well done, Elikem.

NOTE: Elikem also won the Head of House task this morning.

#BBATHECHASE: Nando disqualified from BBA THE CHASE.

Big Brother finally addressed the controversy that went down in the Big Brother house on Friday night between Nando and Elikem. Just an hour after the live eviction show which Annabel and Sulu were evicted, Big Brother announced that all housemates should gather in the lounge.

Eviction show started with Pokello's interview and she tried clarifying her West African utterances. Sunny boi from Namibia was the guest artiste. They also showed Bassey's interview.

AMVCA's best actor and actress, OC Ukeje and Jackie Appiah were around today, even though i don't know what they came for.

#PFWA: LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION & MUSIC: MTN Project Fame West Africa 6.0 kicks off in style

The MTN Project Fame 6.0 opening gala was all it promised to be - exciting, fun-filled with laughter and most of all, provided a chance for promising new talents to get into the Academy.

The show was scheduled for 6pm and guests were to arrive before 5pm for cocktails, alcoholic drinks (if you preferred that) and of course, finger foods. I got to Ultima Studios, the venue for the recording by 3:30pm - hours before the scheduled time - to do my registration and get tagged. Due to poor registration (as always in Nigeria) we had to wait outside longer than planned. They were no seats outside, and I hate the struggle life. As a proper 'omo eko', I hustled for 2 seats, for a friend and I.

#BBATHECHASE: " Elikem deserves to die"- Nando.

Alcohol seems to be the cause of all evil(controversy) in the Big Brother house. Cleo, Dillish, Elikem and Melvin wanted to drink alcohol, But Nando was of the idea that the alcohol should be saved but Cleo disagreed. Nando then took a swipe at her that in an hour's time she will be drunk. That didn't sit down well with Cleo who was visibly angry with Nando.

Then all of a sudden the camera showed Nando having a go at Elikem. Cursing and swearing at him. He called Elikem all sort of names and was all up in Elikem's face. Nando hit Elikem by the shoulder and took off Elikem's cap. Elikem was quit calm all the while Nando called him names and came to his front till he took off the cap from his head. Elikem then later on told Nando he double dare him to try this outside and he will be served.Elikem also called Nando names at this point. Nando then went crazy screaming that Elikem is daring him, that no one dares him.

Then some housemates came and took Nando away. Oneal took Elikem to the garden and calmed him down while Bimp was upstairs with Nando who continued swearing and threatening Elikem. Oneal later went upstairs to talk to Nando and tried to calm him down. Oneal left and it was just Nando and Bimp in the room, Nando  said "i felt like stabbing that nigga, that nigga deserves to die".

Meanwhile Elikem was downstairs playing table tennis with Melvin and not long Nando came downstairs and started cursing  Elikem again. Elikem was just smiling and shaking his butts. Nando was taken away from him and led upstairs again. Nando later took a scissors and hid it under his blanket and said Elikem musn't come into the room. Meanwhile Big Brother ignored all Nando's rants and threats and actions. He wasn't called into the diary room neither was he put to order.

As Elikem and Melvin continued to play table tennis. Feza and Oneal in their 'corner' discussed all that just went down describing Nando as being smart. Feza also asked Oneal why he held Elikem, Oneal said he knows what he's doing.  Feza couldn't stop hating on Cleo and also shifted the hate and gossip to Dillish and how she is a bad friend to Maria. Oneal also talked about how Big Brother 'fucked up' for not awarding the Head of House to him. He threatened to boycott it on Monday unless he is made the Head of House.

I'm just waiting for Biggie's verdict, after what happened tonight. Nando should be disqualified from the game. That guy is a troubled soul and harmful to others.

#BBATHECHASE: Elikem and Oneal battle for Head of House task.

Since the beginning of BBA, HOH task happens every friday and today was no exception. Melvin who won the Power of No task excluded his girl friend, Dillish from the Hoh task with the excuse that she can't handle the bad sides of being the HoH.

Today's task was about rolling the tissue paper and the first to roll becomes the HOH. After the buzzer went off, the housemates ran to the toilet paper stand to choose one and start rolling. Elikem arrived late. After a while some housemates screamed "Oneal" signifying he won. Few minutes later biggie announced Elikem as the HOH.

Immediately, Feza who had earlier congratulated her boo, Oneal walked away in anger, Oneal joined her upstairs and they started complaining and calling biggie a cheat. They could not hide their annoyance. These are some of the things they said.

• Elikem is not going to win this game" - Feza.
• We already declared war on that nigga and suddenly he gets this" Feza.
• Even biggie knows Elikem didn't finish first"- Oneza

Feza also said after Oneal finished first, she was behind him making her the second. She was so upset and didn't stop complaining. Bimp was also sad, he started praying and took sides with Oneza.

Biggie then called for a repeat of the task, this time just between Elikem and Oneal. After the repeat of the task there was a tie. So for the first time on a friday we have no new HOH. Elikem and Oneal would repeat the task again on Monday morning if Elikem doesn't leave on Sunday. If  he leaves, Oneal becomes the new HOH.

#BBATHECHASE: What is happening? Day 60.

The day started with morning exercises with just about 5 housemates participating in it while others continue to sleep. After that, it was the time for Angelo to get a professional massage from Eveva who had given Sulu and Elikem morning massage previously

#BBATHECHASE: What is happening? DAY59.

It was a very quiet Wednesday morning in the big brother house. Most housemates were still sleeping and some of the housemates who had woken up for the morning exercises went back to sleep. Angelo was in the lounge singing along to biggie's music, Elikem was dancing while JJ continued with his routine morning exercises. Dillish was worried housemates were still sleeping because it could affect their weekly wager.

#BBATHECHASE: What is happening? DAY 57

Monday was a quiet day not until evening when Big Brother revealed to the housemates who the nominated housemates up for possible eviction were. They were Annabel, Cleo and Elikem. The Head of House Bimp saved Cleo and replaced with Sulu.

There was a court session in the house same Monday evening. Alusa  brought a case against Dillish the defendant to the court presided by Honourable Justice Elikem. Melvin was co-defendant. Nando was the lawyer representing Alusa, Sulu represented Dillish and Angelo represented Melvin. Alusa had  brought a charge against Dillish that she is messing and playing with his heart. He said Dillish had given him a green light and was going to get married to him only for her to cheat against him with Melvin. Sulu did everything he could in a hilarious way to defend Dillish and accused Alusa of hallucinating. Angelo was a bit lost and most times argued out of point. Nando showed hints of jealousy while arguing his case in support of Alusa's accusation. At the end of the day, Justice Elikem found Melvin not guilty of the charge brought against him. He also found Dillish not guilty of the charge brought against her but found her guilty of being drunk and asked her to make sandwich for Alusa. Alusa was not convinced with his judgement and vowed to appeal. Jazz did a very good job as the reporter from court.

Later that night, Dillish and Nando had a conversation about their differences. Dillish wasn't happy Nando had told everyone in the lounge that she touched his penis and was very surprised and disappointed in him. She told Nando he had done worse to her touching her boobs all the time but she doesn't see it as a big deal as she always laugh about it. She told Nando she has been keeping her distance from him as he doesn't know how to take jokes. Nando apologised and also told her about her misrepresenting him when she told everyone he said he just wants to bang her. They settled their differences and decided to keep being friends.

#BBATHECHASE: What is happening? DAY 58

Tuesday started in the big brother house with Eveva giving Sulu a hot massage. The Head of House Bimp was called to the diary room for the house to decide on their weekly wager. The housemates agreed to wager 100%. This week task is a movie task. The housemates were told to divide themselves into two group with each performing a different movie task. One group will be performing an action romance movie while the other will perform a tragic love movie. The groups were divided with Melvin and Alusa the two known actors in the house in different group. Nando is the director of the Melvin's group that will be performing a tragic love story while Jazz, Sophie and Elikem leads the other group which has Alusa in performing the action romance movie.

The diary sessions on Tuesday started with Melvin, he talked about nominations and the movie task. Annabel is quite sad about being nominated and upset she has become a target every week. Sulu tells Biggie he feels he has been put up for eviction by the Head of House. He says Bimp has been uneasy around him since he made his decision. Elikem accepts his nomination for being up for possible eviction. He says he has seen strong characters being evicted and wouldn't feel bad if he gets evicted.

The housemates continued rehearsing their movie scene all afternoon and trying to perfect their roles. Later Tuesday evening, Feza confronted Cleo in the garden about Oneal. She wanted to know if there was anything between them. Cleo responded and said at the early stage of the show there was attraction between her and Oneal but they moved on and she found herself with Hakeem. She concluded saying there's nothing going on between them now. Feza said she was happy Cleo opened up to her as there have been tension between them. She said she doesn't have any problem with Cleo.

#BBATHECHASE: End of the road for Bassey and Pokello.

Bassey and Pokello's chase for the big prize of $300,000 ended tonight. Bassey and Pokello became the 15th and 16th housemates to be evicted after spending 56 days in the Big Brother house.

The live show started with the charismatic IK showing clips of last week evicted housemates, Natasha and Selly. Video clips of the arena showdown and the merger of the house were also shown. Botswana musician ATL performed on stage.

IK later  crossed over to the house. He joked with some housemates who got their hair painted and also praised Feza for her music video that was shown during the Saturday night party. IK asked the former Head of House of Diamond house Bimp to reveal his save and replace decision which he did. Sulu, the Ruby Head of House did the same. JJ, the fake Emerald Head of House revealed his swap that brought about a dramatic scream from Eveva.

Bassey was the first housemate to be evicted. The housemates all surrounded him and showed their support as he exited the house cheerfully. Bassey joined IK on stage and they chatted. The gorgeous and beautiful Boity joined them on stage and revealed some interesting statistics about the show which included the most watched video online that involved Bassey and Annabel kissing passionately.

Pokello was next to be evicted from the house. She looked quite shocked about it. She left the house and joined IK on stage. They chatted about her stay in the house, her relationship with Elikem and she was shown a video clip of the housemates who nominated her. IK crossed to the house again and told the housemates that the Emerald housemates will not be nominating and can't be nominated as they have immunity for one week. The show ended with another performance from ATL.

It was another Sunday in the Big Brother house and another dreaded eviction show for the housemates. Pokello, Selly, Natasha, Melvin, Annabel and Cleo were all up for a possible eviction.

#BBATHECHASE: Beverly gets down with Angelo.

It was a night filled with surprises, excitement, uncertainty and drunkenness at the Big Brother house party. 

#BBATHECHASE: Fuck the West Africans.(Alliance)

Apparently the West Africans(Melvin, Beverly, Selly, Elikem and Bassey) in the Big Brother house are a threat to some of the housemates and are being planned against, unknown to them.

Nando, Bimp and Oneal discussed while at the party last night about getting the West Africans out of the house. Nando and Bimp who were part of the Diamond housemates who had ridiculed Oneal on Friday night about his attitude towards alcohol were quick to team up with him and strategise together. 

Nando told Oneal about Selly giving him STD and how much he hates her. Bimp also said he is tired of the West Africa shit. Nando said he sees himself, Bimp, Oneal, Feza and Sulu has being the top five and they have to work together. Nando also said he doesn't like Beverly and only tolerating her because of Bimp.

Oneal who has never hidden his disgust at Nigerians and Nigeria's dominance of previous Big Brother season was very happy to team up with Nando and Bimp. Oneal also at some point during the party poured out his anger to Feza about the "fucking Nigerians"."Fuck the West Africans" he said. Telling Feza he is going to declare war against the West Africans. Oneal says he will tell Big Brother about his decision. Oneal also refused to dance saying they play too many Nigerian songs.

I am personally surprised Big Brother hasn't called Nando, Bimp and Oneal to order as this isn't the first time they are openly forming an alliance on which housemates to nominate. Isn't that against the game rules?

#BBATHECHASE: Meet the Emeralds.

Big Brother finally decided to make the fake Emerald house a reality. He introduced them to the original housemates last night at the party. The six fake Emerald housemates will be joining the show tonight at the Live Eviction Show. Before they are officially introduced tonight, i decided to introduce them to you guys. Here they are....

#BBATHECHASE: Emerald housemates joins the party.

While entering the party lounge, the Ruby and Diamond housemates were welcomed by the six fake Emerald housemates who were separated by a glass. The Ruby and Diamond housemates stood shocked and confused. They started talking with each other trying to figure it out. 

#BBATHECHASE: Selly gave me STD - Nando.

Melvin for the first time during his three time reign as the HoH of Diamond house won the Airtel Arena Showdown. In a seven aside football game, the Diamond House defeated the Ruby house by 7-3. Nando scored four of the goals and proved to all his football abilities. Melvin later swapped Feza and Cleo from the Diamond house for Selly and Natasha from the Ruby house.

Hakeem arrived Harare airport, Zimbabwe on Wednesday, unlike past Zimbabwean housemates, the airport was scanty as fans stayed away from welcoming Hakeem.

#BBTHECHASE: Day 45. Diamonds are crazy.

Both houses had their crush wall session today. The diamonds housemates agreed to crush on Angelo and Oneal each, so Beverly and Feza could get a chance to mee them at the rendezvous room on saturday. This didn't go well with Annabel, so she crushed on Oneal 2x. Bassey also crushed on Angelo 2x. So Oneal and Angelo won in rubies. Elikem, Pokello and Selly crushed on Melvin 2x, while Oneal crushed on Feza 2x, Angelo on Beverly 2x. Melvin won in diamonds.

Nollywood and "Yorrywood" actress, Toyin Aimakhu is married again. Toyin married her nollywood boo, Niyi Johnson at the Ikoyi Registry this morning. Reception follows by 2pm at Sabitex Hotel, Lekki.

#BBATHECHASE: Hakeem and Fatima exit the show.

Fatima and Hakeem became the 11th and 12th housemates to be evicted from the Big Brother house. Hakeem who was seen as a very strong contender at the beginning of the show had his popularity with the viewers go down due to his excessive and unnecessary arrogance

#BBAHECHASE: Epic Night.

Where do we start with all the drama that took place last night? Okay, let's start with the party. As it has been for the last three weeks, the Diamond housemates were transferred to the Ruby house minutes before the party started. On getting to the Ruby house, Oneal confronted Feza about her instigating her swap to the Diamond house. Oneal told her Elikem told him she asked to be sent over. And Pokello also told him she had asked Melvin to bring her over to the Diamond house. A very cunny and sly Feza denied it and lied outrightly to Oneal and the whole of Africa that it was a surprise to her and she didn't want to go, she cried all night and couldn't sleep on getting to the Diamond house.

The Rubies house won the Airtel Arena Showdown once again. And as the Head of House of the Ruby house, Elikem gets the chance to make the swap. 

#BBATHECHASE: Highlights of the week.

Monday :
Housemates up for nominations in the Diamond house after the HoH save and replace are Bimp, Cleo, Hakeem, Pokello and Selly while in the Ruby house are Angelo and Fatima.

Tuesday :
The task for the week is a wedding task. Both houses wagered 100% for their task. The housemates were asked to plan a wedding with the presentation on Thursday evening. They were asked to select a groom, bride, best man, brides maid. The Diamond house selected Hakeem as the groom, Cleo as the bride, Bimp as the best man, Selly as the brides maid, Bassey as the priest. While the Ruby house selected Oneal as the groom, Feza as the bride, Angelo as the best man, Fatima as the brides maid and Elikem as the priest.

Selly was rewarded by the talking fish for her successful secret task in returning their stolen book of tales. She was going to the toilet when the talking fish called her out and told her there is a reward for her in the store room. She got a box of chocolate and was excited about that.

As part of the task, Hakeem professed his love and proposed to Cleo to marry him. A blushing Cleo said Yes. While Oneal did the same in the toilet for Feza who also said Yes. The Ruby housemates decided the theme of their wedding will be traditional and they all got dressed in their traditional attire in preparation for the introduction ceremony

In their diary session, housemates talked about nominations and the HoH save and replace decision. Fatima believes she might be going home. Pokello in her analytic way analysed the nominations and who she thinks Melvin had saved and replaced with. Hakeem is also convinced he has been put up and hopes a situation where LK4 and Koketso were evicted same day doesn't happen with him and Cleo.

Wednesday :
The day started with their normal exercise routine. Many housemates didn't take part as they continued sleeping.

The crush wall session started in the Ruby house. Angelo chose Dillish and Selly, Sulu went for Pokello and Selly, Feza chose Selly and Pokello, Natasha chose Nando twice, Elikem chose Pokello twice, Fatima chose Bassey and Pokello, Oneal chose Pokello and Selly while Annabel chose Nando twice.

In the Diamond house, Selly, Beverly, Dillish, Nando, Melvin, Cleo, Bassey all chose Elikem and Angelo respectively. Bimp chose Feza and Fatima, Pokello chose Elikem twice and Hakeem did the same.

Big Brother announced Pokello and Elikem as the winner of the Crush Wall and they both chose each other for the rendezvous session.

Beverly and Natasha won the Power of No task. Later that evening. Annabel had a quarrel with Oneal over alcohol which got Annabel crying. Feza tried to talk to Oneal about it and get him to apologise but he kept threatening saying that Annabel should pray he gets evicted on Sunday or he will show her in the house.

The Rubies and the Diamonds had their Bachelor and Bachelorette party. Dressed in costumes, the diamond girls danced excitedly and sexily in the lounge. Pokello gave Cleo the bride to be some lessons in sexy dancing. Bassey who was the male stripper came downstairs and gave the girls a lap dance each. Meanwhile, Hakeem the groom was upstairs having his bachelor's party also got some strip and lap dancing from Beverly the stripper.

The Rubies men advised Oneal about his marriage. Had some drinks and danced in the garden. The Rubies girls were upstairs and also advised Feza on how to keep his man happy. She was shown different sex positions. Elikem later came upstairs and gave Feza a lap dance.

Thursday :
Housemates in the Ruby house after their morning exercises started working on their task in preparation for the task presentation. They worked on their cake and car. While it was a lazy morning in the Diamond house with most housemates sleeping all morning.

Pokello, Bassey, Melvin, Dillish and Selly were the only housemates awake going into the afternoon and they gathered in the kitchen gisting. Melvin and Bassey kept probing about Pokello's "relationship" with Elikem. She said she isn't in a full fledged relationship with him. They are only in stage 2 and not yet stage 1.

Pokello later turned the conversation around started probing Melvin about Maria. She told housemates she saw Melvin kissing Maria in the lounge. Dillish was quick to defend Melvin and said they didn't kiss. Melvin also at first denied kissing Maria. Pokello who was very adamant she saw them kissing told Dillish not to defend Melvin cos she wasn't there. She narrated the scenario she saw. Melvin later said it didn't mean anything as he also kissed Natasha same way. Pokello went further and told them how she saw them kissing again when they were blindfolded and hugging each other and rubbing each others back. The look on Dillish's face at this point was very interesting. She looked surprised and shocked at the same time and kept quiet and didn't say anything again while Melvin kept saying there wasn't a big deal about the kiss and him and Maria are just cool.

Later in the afternoon, they had their diary sessions with housemates talking about their readiness for the task presentation and who they think the Alpha male and female is in the house. Some housemates mentioned Oneal in the Ruby house and some mentioned Melvin in the Diamond house. Pokello was also mentioned in the Diamond house while a lot remained indifferent.

Moments before their task presentation, Hakeem with the camera on his chest turned into an interviewer and grilled some housemates. He asked Nando if he had sex with Selly and he said No. He asked Melvin how he felt about his love 'Maria' not being with him, Melvin as usual was dodgy in his response. Hakeem went further and said he had been sleeping with Maria on his bed, Melvin interrupted him and said he had been sleeping 'by her' and not 'with her'. Hakeem asked if he ever had a 'gun salute' while sleeping 'by her' and he said Yes. Dillish immediately asked Melvin what gun salute meant and Melvin told her a boner. Hakeem asked Dillish if he still has a beef with him and Dillish said No, he asked her if he has feelings for him(Hakeem) and Dillish said Never. He asked Dillish who the guy she said she has feelings for is, Dillish declined to name the person and said the person knows and they have spoken about it.

The task presentation started in the Diamond house. Pokello was the MC of the day and welcomed everyone to the wedding. The priest Bassey took  his position. The groom and the best man came out. The guest Dillish, Beverly and Nando also came out. The bride's father Melvin held his daughter's hand as they come out accompanied by the bridesmaid Selly. The priest asked both the groom and the bride to read out their vows which they did. They were soon proclaimed husband and wife and they kissed passionately, the best man and the bridesmaid gave their speech. They cut their cake, gathered for pictures. The couples boarded their car and the bride threw her bouquet which Pokello caught. Hakeem rounded off the ceremony with a song he sang for his wife.

The Rubies were more organised in their task but also more stiff and boring with it. The priest Elikem coordinated the wedding. The groom and bride Oneal and Feza read out their vows and kissed passionately. They were proclaimed husband and wife. Soon after, Natasha started singing a traditional song which other housemates joined in. They sat down and Angelo the best man gave his speech, everyone else also said one or two things and wished the couple well. Big brother later announced that both houses won their wager.

Good news people, our own DJ Exclusive will be at the party zone on saturday, it's going to be a crazy party.

#BBATHECHASE: Betty to be sued.

A group of lawyers in Addis Ababa finalized its preparations to sue Big Brother Africa’s 2013 contestant, Betty Abera for having sex in public.

According to a local radio show, Ethiopikalink, if she is convicted, Betty could potentially face up to six years behind bars.
