#PFWA: Olawale Ayodele Ojo wins MTN Project Fame West Africa 6.0

And the Winner is Olawale Ojo

Seventeen shows down with memorable performances, nominations, evictions etc, Olawale Ojo emerged as the winner of MTN Project Fame West Africa 6.0.
Olawale was presented with a check of =N=5,000,000.00 (Five million Naira). He also won a brand new SUV and a recording contract worth millions of Naira.
Immaculate came in First runner up and was presented with a check of =N=3,000,000.00 (three million Naira) and a brand new salon car.
Margaret was the second runner up and won herself =N=2,000,000.00 (two million Naira) and a brand new car
Nini came in fourth with the prize money of =N=-2,000,000.00 (two million Naira).
Omolayo came in fifth and won =N=1,000,000.00 (one million Naira).
Roland placed sixth with prize money of =N=500,000.00 (five hundred thousand Naira).

Beverly celebrated her birthday last night at Aura Night club. Her closest friends, Bimp and Bassey were there to celebrate with her. Her boo, Angelo also flew into the country to celebrate with her. Melvin was also there to celebrate with her. Heard the party was fun and Angelo also professed his love for Beverly in front of their fans and friends. I must admit they look good together.

It's birthday galore this week for ex Big Brother housemates. Selly celebrated her birthday on Wednesday and having her party today. Motamma also clocked a year older this week. And Nigerian video vixen Beverly adds another year today.

Beverly celebrates her birthday this Saturday and has invited some of her chasemates to celebrate with her.Her close pals Bimp and Bassey with her boo Angelo will be gracing her birthday party.

Ghanaian diva and Big Brother Africa The Chase housemate clocks 26 today, 25th September 2013. Selly who is well remembered for her love triangle with Tanzanian Nando and the hilarious Sulu in the big brother house will be celebrating her birthday in a big way.

She has decided to have a befitting and glamorous celebration on Friday the 27th. As part of the celebration, there will be a red carpet event which will be followed with the party proper. Selly has invited some of her fellow Chase housemates to celebrate with her. The housemates that will be grooving with Selly are Sulu, Bassey, Annabel, Bolt, Lk4, Angelo, Melvin, Natasha and of course, the BBA winner, Dillish.

#PFWA: Meet your top 6: WHO JOINS THE HALL OF FAME?

September 29th, 2013 will see MTN Project Fame West Africa 6.0 come to and. This year, 16 musical hopefuls joined the academy looking to walk home with the prize money of 5million naira, a SUV and a recording contract, the 2nd, 3rd and 4th also have prizes to take home. For the past 8 weeks, we have watched these contestants get professional training by members of the Faculty which include voice coaching, song writing performances, mentoring by past winners and MTN brand ambassadors,etc.
They have also received accolades and constructive criticism from the judges on Nomination/ Elimination show. We have watched judges and Faculty disagree and sometimes agree on contestants performances.
We have said goodbye to some of our favourites as they got eliminated from the show making way for the 6 finalists. Gabbie, Lady J and L took a look at our top 6 contestants and also try to pick the winner of the show ( From our point of view of course). Let us also know your choice and what you think of the show so far.

#PFWA: ELIMINATION SHOW; End of the road for Simon and Jimoh

The eight contestants took to the stage to pay tribute to two Reggae legends. Isaac Gregory and Lucky Dube. They performed NIGHT NURSE by ISAAC GREGORY and DIFFERENT COLOURS/ONE PEOPLE by LUCKY DUBE.

Adora and Joseph called out the least five, Simon, Jimoh, Niniola, Immaculate and Roland. It wasn't a surprise to see Simon who enjoyed massiv support from audience/viewers in the past weeks. I think Bibi's comment played a role in it. But i was shocked to see Roland and Immaculate there.
Unfortunately, Lady J isn't available today, she'll be back as soon as possible.

#BBATHECHASE: Dillish celebrates birthday with her parents and gets car gift from Stephen.

Dillish who clocked 23 on Monday, September 16th celebrated her 23rd birthday with her parents, friends and family. Dillish's dad, Mr Abdi Guyo who promised to attend his daughter's birthday actually fulfilled his promise. This is indeed a dream come through for Dillish. Happy birthday girl.
She also got a car gift from her boo, Stephen. Better boyfriend things.

#BBATHECHASE: Welcome to Ghana, Pokello.

Big Brother's couple, Pokello and Elikem left Zimbabwe yesterday and arrived the Kotoka International Airport in Ghana on Tuesday evening. They got a fantastic welcome from Ghana. Last week Elikem visited Zimbabwe and got a presidential welcome from Zim, so Ghana had no choice than to welcome Pokello well. Polikem fans were at the airport, banners, customized T shirts, Cultural dancers were all part of the side attraction.

Dillish's parents meet virtually after 23 years (Video)

I think this story about a man saying he's Dillish's father started on Monday, i didn't take it seriously, i just felt one silly person was trying to be funny. But all that speculation is now over. After 23 years Dillish knows who her father is and will be meeting him in few days.

There's a video below, it's a bit long so i didn't transcribe it. I just picked out some interesting parts.
His name is Abdi, he was/is in the millitary. he's married with 3 girls and 2 boys, now 6 if you add Dillish. He had Dillish in his early 20's. Salma, Dillish's mum is so happy to see him, they spoke about the past and wants him to come to namibia to see Dillish as soon as possible. He's from Borana in Kenya. He will be attending Dillish's 23rd birthday in Namibia on the 16th of september and he'll give her a Kenyan name.
Dillish is so happy to have a father, she her tweets.

#PFWA: NOMINAION SHOW; Night of Covers and Classic Duets

It was a night of covers and duets. Each contestants performed twice. Sound sultan was a guest judge. They started with the covers and Omolayo was the first to hit the stage.
OMOLAYO:     I wish  - Lighthouse family

GABBIE- I don’t really know how I feel about this cover. I just wasn’t feeling it.  The beginning was weak. For a high life song, it was OK but as a cover/remix of a Lighthouse family song it was quite annoying. 5/10.

LADY J- I didn't quite like how he started the performance but the switch to highlife made up for it. He made me want to get my bata on. I don't think he was at his best vocally though his last note was everything 6/10

L- I didn't understand the beginning of the song but he later made the song his own. I liked the fusion of juju.He could have done better though. 6.5/10.

#PFWA: ELIMINATION SHOW; End of the road for Johnny and Nancy.

The show started with tributes to Luther Vandross and Teddy Pendergrass as all the contestants did some of their hit tracks which eased off the tension in the air. All contestants were put on probation. Adora and Joseph called the names of contestants who wasn't saved by West Africa. Blessing, Jimoh, Johnny, David and Nancy emerged as the least 5.

#TINSEL: The Week in review.

Angela and Angelique keep fighting themselves as to who should be in control. Angela during one of her ‘chatty chatty moments’ with Angelique discovers Angelique actually set up her Dad.  Angelique says she did it to help Angela. After threatening to call Dr. Ibrahim and have herself committed to the psych ward, Angelique gives in and tells Angela where the Money is.  Angela transfers the money back to the NGO’s account and calls her Dad to tell him all has been sorted and he can come home. Somewhere along the line, the money disappears from the NGOs account. Angela suspects Angelique is at it again.

#BBATHECHASE: Elikem talks about Feza, Pokello and Nando.

Elikem had a press conference in Ghana, i listened to it and decided to transcribe the interesting parts of it.

ABOUT POKELLO.
He said when he got there he met Feza and thought she was a good girl but he was wrong. Initially she gave excuses of culture and when he got out he found out she liked him and wanted him to push harder. Then he went to Ruby and saw Pokello and things turned out good. He said he's Pokello's type of man, tall dark, masculine and she's his kind of woman " hard to get" "fresh to death"and he's taking it one step at a time and he believes they will work.

ABOUT SEX TAPE
The first or second day he got to Ruby, she told him about it and how everything leaked. He  said he has seen it and he doesn't want to say " I like it, it is niceeee".

#BBATHECHASE: Melvin and Beverly's welcome party.

Melvin and Beverly had their welcome party last night at the Marquee situated in Victoria Island, Lagos.The party which was about to start by 8 didn't start till about 10pm. It was anchored by Dotun of Cool FM and Xclusive was the DJ of the day

And he played Sulu's Ruby. Victoria Kimani and KC performed 

 Some of the people Spotted were: Uti, Alex Ekubo, Karen, Bryan Okwara, Denrenle, etc.

People asked different questions, and it was mostly about Dillish and nothing about Maria, screams of Dillish every where in the club and Beverly got some question about Angelo. It was a fun night all in all.
